Snow?
Snow? In San Diego? Yes, my Midwestern friends, it does happen. Fortunately it does not involve salt and shoveling driveways and sidewalks. Unfortunately, this also means there aren't any snow days. :(
But yes, there is snow. See?

Amy, I thought of you when I heard about the storm bearing down on Iowa and the rest of the mid-west. I'm sure you don't miss big, nasty, dangerous storms, but I know there are things you liked about living in Iowa and it sounds like at least a little snow is one of them!
I'm enjoying the rain!
