You have some awfully pretty scenery around you. It makes me laugh when I hear people say "there is nothing in the desert." I suppose that is true in some deserts--I sure haven't been to too many of them--but it isn't true of the desert between San Diego and Phoenix and Phoenix and Flagstaff and Albuquerque and Taos, etc.
