The 40th anniversary of Earth Day is coming up on April 22, 2010.
In honor of that, the folks over at GOOD.is sponsored a contest with Klean Kanteen to design this year's Earth Day water bottle, and I decided to play along.
Great logo, Amy! How cool if you win! I can definitely see that on a stainless steel water bottle! (I happen to have a SIG, but am wishing I had bought a the "other" kind because there is some discussion about the lining in the SIG eventually eroding. I tend to think that things the Swiss make and use are pretty good, though, so I am not worried about it.
Awesome Amy! I totally see that on a water bottle!
Boo's Mom, in August 2008 Sigg changed the linings in their bottles to be BPA free. If you have a pre-August 2008 water bottle you may want to get a new one. In fact, I think they will replace them if you contact Sigg.
Additionally REI puts their stainless steel water bottles on sale every so often if you check there you may find a Kleen Kanteen marked down.
I only know all this because I did a lot of research when picking water bottles for my son (we went with the Safe Sippy, which was so-so, a Kleen Kanteen with a spout top, decent but dents very easily and my favorite, Foogo (Thermos) which has a straw and is double-walled so it can (unofficially) hold warm liquids.
This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free. It is the old what goes around comes around routine. Stainless steel water bottle online
A born and raised San Diegan currently living in Mesa, AZ by way of Daveport, IA. Wife of a chiropractor. Stay-at-home mommy to the sweetest little girl in the whole wide world. I spend my days cooking, crafting, and fantasizing about cooler climates. :)
