Brett's (World Famous) Salsa Recipe

Ok, so maybe it's not world famous, but it is delicious!  I highly recommend that you try it out:

1 large can Contadina crushed tomatoes with roasted Garlic
1 can chopped/diced Jalapeños
1 can chopped green chiles
1 medium onion
1/2 bunch of cilantro
Real tablespoon of Salt
Real tablespoon of Pepper
Real tablespoon of lime juice
1/2 teaspoon of minced garlic (more or less to taste)

Place 1/2 can of Crushed tomatoes, full can of Jalapeños and chiles, salt, pepper, and garlic in blender.   Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds or so.

Chop the onion and cilantro to desired sizes (smaller is better) and place in bowl with other 1/2 can of crushed tomatoes.   Stir until mixed.  Pour the contents of blender into the bowl and mix.  Mix in Lime juice, and you have salsa!

Good Times Bowling, Part II

Here we are a couple weekends ago reliving the good ol' days of Palmer League bowling--I had to sit this one out because I dislocated my shoulder :(

Derek Bowling:

Amy & April:

I was really just along for the Strawberry Daiquiri afterwards ;-). After bowling we went to Los Agaves for some yummy drinks and mediocre Mexican food. Good Times.

Also, it was April's birthday that day. Happy Birthday April!

Carne Asada

¿Cómo se dice "yummy" en Español?

This weekend we decided to introduce our friends Derek and April to Carne Asada. Neither of them had ever even heard of it, much less tasted it. We enjoyed a full feast of beans, really yummy Mexican rice, chips, salsa, and of course, carne asada. It was delicious and Derek and April are now big carne asada fans.

Here are the guys at the grill:
